Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Hollandsk Kanalparti ved Delft” by Edvard Petersen for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.78). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edvard Petersen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A tranquil summer landscape in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,643.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Hollandsk Kanalparti ved Delft” von Edvard Petersen für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edvard Petersen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A tranquil summer landscape im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.643,90).
