A top price for Eduardo Abela - as previously expected
In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Novia by Eduardo Abela. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 28,360.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Novia is the most expensive artwork by Eduardo Abela that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Novia von Eduardo Abela zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 28.360,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Novia das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eduardo Abela, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
