Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Stadsgezicht: a canal in Amsterdam by Eduard Karsen. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Eduard Karsen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2001 the work The Herengracht, Amsterdam was auctioned for NLG 10,575.00 (€ 4,853.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stadsgezicht: a canal in Amsterdam von Eduard Karsen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Eduard Karsen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2001 die Arbeit The Herengracht, Amsterdam für NLG 10.575,00 (€ 4.853,73) versteigert.
