However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Charlemont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Pages, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 54,320.09).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.106,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Charlemont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Pages beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 54.320,09) versteigert wurde.
