Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edouard Pail - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A shepherd and his flock on a hillside, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,615.14).
