A top price for Édouard Gelhay - as previously expected
The work Elégantes sur la plage by Édouard Gelhay was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,480.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elégantes sur la plage is the most expensive artwork by Édouard Gelhay that we have observed at auctions so far.
