Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Senza titolo by Edoardo Giordano for ITL 3,430,000.00 (€ 3,245.42). This price was achieved in the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of ITL 3,500,000.00 – 5,000,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Edoardo Giordano have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2003 by the work Composizione at EUR 4,712.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza titolo von Edoardo Giordano für ITL 3.430.000,00 (€ 3.245,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von ITL 3.500.000,00 – 5.000.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Edoardo Giordano wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2003 die Arbeit Composizione mit EUR 4.712,00.
