In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work On the Lake sold for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,472.40) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund William Greacen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Day At The Beach, Watch Hill in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 64,255.70).
