Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work Lloyd George by Edmund Joseph Sullivan. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,138.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Edmund Joseph Sullivan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2004 the work Illustrations to The French Revolution (one illustrated) was auctioned for GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,198.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lloyd George von Edmund Joseph Sullivan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.138,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Edmund Joseph Sullivan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2004 die Arbeit Illustrations to The French Revolution (one illustrated) für GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.198,63) versteigert.
