Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work An extensive autumnal landscape with a woman admiring the view by Edmund George Warren for GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,360.49). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmund George Warren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 19,692.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An extensive autumnal landscape with a woman admiring the view von Edmund George Warren für GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.360,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edmund George Warren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 19.692,96).
