Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "It Is The Evil Things That We Shall Be Fighting Against" by Edmund Dulac was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,103.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Edmund Dulac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Little Mermaid (At the mere sight of the bright liquid they drew back in terror) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 67,189.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "It Is The Evil Things That We Shall Be Fighting Against" von Edmund Dulac kam im Dezember 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
