Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Property from the Estate of Sir John and Lady Smith, which included the work A Collection Of Four Illustrated Editions, Comprising: by Edmund Dulac. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,058.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmund Dulac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Little Mermaid (At the mere sight of the bright liquid they drew back in terror) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 67,189.14).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Little Mermaid (At the mere sight of the bright liquid they drew back in terror) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 67.189,14).
