Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Brothers In A Study, Presumed To The Be The Children Of The Painter by Alfred Dehodencq for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,602.87). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Dehodencq achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musiciens juifs dans les rues de Tétuan in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 853,571.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Brothers In A Study, Presumed To The Be The Children Of The Painter von Alfred Dehodencq für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.602,87) erwerben.
