The work Off to the fishing grounds by Edgard Farasyn was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,344.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Edgard Farasyn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Busy Market In Antwerp in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 6,000.00.

Die Arbeit Off to the fishing grounds von Edgard Farasyn kam im November 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.344,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
