Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Are you a Jedi? by Edgar Plans was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 819,000.00 (€ 96,105.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edgar Plans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Juanín in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Are you a Jedi? von Edgar Plans wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 96.105,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Plans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Juanín im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
