A top price for Edgar Plans - as previously expected
The work Juanín by Edgar Plans was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Juanín is the most expensive artwork by Edgar Plans that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Juanín von Edgar Plans kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Juanín das teuerste Kunstwerk von Edgar Plans, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
