Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART, which included the work Baryum by Edgard Pillet. The price achieved of NLG 7,021.20 (€ 3,289.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edgard Pillet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interzone - 1948, which sold at auction in December 2021 for EUR 8,840.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baryum von Edgard Pillet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 7.021,20 (€ 3.289,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Edgard Pillet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interzone - 1948 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für EUR 8.840,00 versteigert wurde.
