Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 12,160.00 (€ 14,090.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Admittedly, works by Edgar Hunt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A donkey, two goats, chickens and chicks in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 47,000.00 (€ 76,819.65).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.160,00 (€ 14.090,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Hunt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A donkey, two goats, chickens and chicks im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.000,00 (€ 76.819,65).
