Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Eddy Li achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction, the work Dragon Wall sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,047.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddy Li - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hong Kong Victoria Peak , which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 312,500.00 (€ 35,187.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eddy Li erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit Dragon Wall für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.047,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eddy Li mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hong Kong Victoria Peak beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 312.500,00 (€ 35.187,96) versteigert wurde.
