Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Surrealist abstraction by Dwinell Grant for USD 1,200.00 (€ 875.21). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,800.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dwinell Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orange Triangle in March last year with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,901.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Surrealist abstraction von Dwinell Grant für USD 1.200,00 (€ 875,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dwinell Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orange Triangle im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 15.901,92).
