A top price for Dwight Shepler - as previously expected
In January 2016 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale, which included the work Sun Valley by Dwight Shepler. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,237.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sun Valley is the most expensive artwork by Dwight Shepler that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Januar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sun Valley von Dwight Shepler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.237,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sun Valley das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dwight Shepler, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
