Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dushyant Patel could be acquired at Bonhams in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online auction, the work Untitled (Donkey with flowers) changed hands for GBP 19.13 (€ 21.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dushyant Patel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Landscape) in November last year with an auction result of GBP 510.00 (€ 590.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dushyant Patel konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Donkey with flowers) für GBP 19,13 (€ 21,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dushyant Patel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 510,00 (€ 590,97).
