Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Dog with House) by Dushyant Patel for GBP 19.13 (€ 21.76). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dushyant Patel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Landscape) in November last year with an auction result of GBP 510.00 (€ 590.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Dog with House) von Dushyant Patel für GBP 19,13 (€ 21,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dushyant Patel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 510,00 (€ 590,97).
