The work Young Woman by Dumile Feni was sold in the Modern and Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in May 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,614.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Dumile Feni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 60,062.00 (€ 69,667.61).

Die Arbeit Young Woman von Dumile Feni wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.614,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dumile Feni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Head im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.062,00 (€ 69.667,61).
