Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work South Africanuntitled (Two Figures) by Dumile Feni was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,700.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dumile Feni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 60,062.00 (€ 69,667.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit South Africanuntitled (Two Figures) von Dumile Feni wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.700,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dumile Feni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.062,00 (€ 69.667,61).
