Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Duilio Barnabè achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. In the 20th Century Art 1900-1950 auction, the work Religieuses sold for EUR 7,540.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Duilio Barnabè - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figura, which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 31,500.00 (€ 27,831.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Duilio Barnabè erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art 1900-1950 wurde die Arbeit Religieuses für EUR 7.540,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Duilio Barnabè mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figura beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für USD 31.500,00 (€ 27.831,77) versteigert wurde.
