Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Unknown by Duan Jianwei. It changed hands for a price of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 81,380.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Other works by Duan Jianwei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2013 the work Swimming was auctioned for CNY 944,000.00 (€ 113,178.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Duan Jianwei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 81.380,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianwei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2013 die Arbeit Swimming für CNY 944.000,00 (€ 113.178,61) versteigert.
