Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Kid by Duan Jianwei was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. The price achieved of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 47,779.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Duan Jianwei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Swimming, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 944,000.00 (€ 113,178.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Kid von Duan Jianwei wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 47.779,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianwei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Swimming beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 944.000,00 (€ 113.178,61) versteigert wurde.
