Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Algerianmoonlight by Driss Ouadahi. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,655.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Driss Ouadahi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Another Way was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,478.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Algerianmoonlight von Driss Ouadahi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.655,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Driss Ouadahi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Another Way für USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.478,13) versteigert.
