Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin título by Dr. Lakra was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,253.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dr. Lakra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Pomada) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 35,183.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin título von Dr. Lakra kam im Mai 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.253,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Lakra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Pomada) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 35.183,61).
