Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinito by Dr. Lakra was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,541.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dr. Lakra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Pomada) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 35,183.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinito von Dr. Lakra kam im April 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.541,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Lakra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Pomada) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 35.183,61).
