Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Douwe van der Zweep achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work View of the dunes sold for NLG 3,042.52 (€ 1,337.38) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Douwe van der Zweep; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A still life with flowering cactusses sold at auction in July 2003 with the realized price of EUR 1,912.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Douwe van der Zweep erzielte im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit View of the dunes für NLG 3.042,52 (€ 1.337,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Douwe van der Zweep; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A still life with flowering cactusses im Juli 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.912,00.
