Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Night Harbour by Douglas Swan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Swan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work »Air Mini« in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 6,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Night Harbour von Douglas Swan wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Douglas Swan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit »Air Mini« im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.450,00.
