In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Aboriginal Art, which included the work Karlangu (Digging Sticks) by Dorothy Robinson Napangardi. The auction ended at the price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,628.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Dorothy Robinson Napangardi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Salt on Mina Mina, 2003 was auctioned for AUD 49,200.00 (€ 43,589.97).

Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Karlangu (Digging Sticks) von Dorothy Robinson Napangardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.628,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Robinson Napangardi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Salt on Mina Mina, 2003 für AUD 49.200,00 (€ 43.589,97) versteigert.
