Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dondi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2017. In the Beyond Urban auction, the work Save The Worker - 1984 sold for EUR 130,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dondi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hammers in Hell sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dondi erzielte im Dezember 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Beyond Urban wurde die Arbeit Save The Worker - 1984 für EUR 130.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Dondi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hammers in Hell im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 219.703,57).
