Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Operation Input, 1982 by Dondi was auctioned at Artcurial in February 2014. The auction ended at the price of EUR 26,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 22,000.00 – 26,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dondi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hammers in Hell in November last year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Operation Input, 1982 von Dondi kam im Februar 2014 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 26.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 22.000,00 – 26.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dondi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hammers in Hell im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 219.703,57).
