Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Children Of The Grave! Part 4 - 1985 by Dondi was worth EUR 119,240.00 to a buyer in December 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Beyond Urban at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dondi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hammers in Hell sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).
