Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bishop Of Battle - 1985 by Dondi was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2015. The price achieved of EUR 51,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dondi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hammers in Hell in November last year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).

Die Arbeit Bishop Of Battle - 1985 von Dondi kam im Oktober 2015 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 51.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dondi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hammers in Hell im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 219.703,57).
