Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anno Domini, Circa 1983 by Dondi was sold in the Street Art auction at Artcurial in January 2013. The price achieved of EUR 2,317.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dondi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hammers in Hell in November last year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 219,703.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Anno Domini, Circa 1983 von Dondi wurde im Januar 2013 in der Auktion Street Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.317,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dondi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hammers in Hell im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 219.703,57).
