Cardinal A. Scola's Collection auction at Il Ponte in March 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,700.00 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donato Frisia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venezia Al Ponte di Rialto, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 5,952.00.

Die Arbeit Biranza, Garden von Donato Frisia wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.700,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Donato Frisia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venezia Al Ponte di Rialto beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 5.952,00 versteigert wurde.
