In July 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Indian Hunting Party by Donald Putman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,861.64), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, Indian Hunting Party is even the most expensive work of art by Donald Putman that we have observed at auctions so far.
