Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2015 Christies in London held the auction 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale, which included the work Arosa by Donald Brun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,329.10), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald Brun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arosa, which sold at auction in January 2013 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,295.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arosa von Donald Brun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.329,10) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Donald Brun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arosa beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.295,35) versteigert wurde.
