Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1961 by Don Fink was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 765.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Don Fink - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1956, which sold at auction in November 2009 for EUR 1,785.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1961 von Don Fink kam im Juli 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 765,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Don Fink mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1956 beobachtet, die im November 2009 für EUR 1.785,00 versteigert wurde.
