Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain, which included the work Métamorphose Koudio, 2007 by Dominique Zinkpè. The price achieved of EUR 7,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dominique Zinkpè - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belle d'un Jour, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 13,812.00 (€ 16,031.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Métamorphose Koudio, 2007 von Dominique Zinkpè zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dominique Zinkpè mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belle d'un Jour beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 13.812,00 (€ 16.031,17) versteigert wurde.
