In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Les Villagois by Dominique Zinkpè. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.10), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Dominique Zinkpè have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 13,812.00 (€ 16,031.17) in March 2019 for the work Belle d'un Jour.

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Villagois von Dominique Zinkpè zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.499,10) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Dominique Zinkpè haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.812,00 (€ 16.031,17) im März 2019 für die Arbeit Belle d'un Jour beobachtet.
