A top price for Dominique Alonzo - as previously expected
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction European Art: Paintings & Sculpture, which included the work Marguerite by Dominique Alonzo. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,259.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Marguerite is the most expensive artwork by Dominique Alonzo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European Art: Paintings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marguerite von Dominique Alonzo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.259,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Marguerite das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dominique Alonzo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
