Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Scena d'interno by Domenico Induno was auctioned at Il Ponte in June last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 650.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Induno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Post Boy in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,819.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Scena d'interno von Domenico Induno im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 650,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Induno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Post Boy im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.819,00).
