The work Ritratto femminile by Domenico Induno was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,600.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Induno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Post Boy in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,819.00).

Die Arbeit Ritratto femminile von Domenico Induno wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.600,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Induno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Post Boy im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.819,00).
