Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 46,350.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Gargiulo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Gathering of the Manna, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 189,000.00 (€ 177,398.16).
