Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Rampa di lancio by Domenico Belli was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Belli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polimaterico B in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,485.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Rampa di lancio von Domenico Belli im Dezember 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 400,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Belli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polimaterico B im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.485,61).
